| GUNFIGHTER SECRETS: Rule one hit the target. | ||||
| Many people who begin competing in "action" shooting sports, like IPSC, have a tendency to try to shoot and move too quickly, too soon. Speed comes with practice, and practice promotes smoothness and efficiency in the draw, presentation and the movement of the handgun from target to target. You have to slow down to improve. Theres a saying among competitors: "You cant miss fast enough to win." Often, shooters with strong target shooting backgrounds do very well in action shooting, even though they appear to be moving relatively slowly on the line. Their hours spent in slow-fire, bullseye shooting pay off in action shooting as they seem to effortlessly hit the targets every time. Their times may seem slow at first but no penalties for misses and clean runs soon make-up for blazing speed and misses! Theres a simple secret to shooting smoothly, accurately and fast on steel plates. It has to do with eye movement, sight acquisition and trigger control. If youd like to learn this simple yet effective secret... Click Here for Gun Lab's Secret. |

Does This Elevator Go All The Way To The Top? Here is the candidate for Dumbest Bank Robber of The Millennium. Our contestant comes from North Carolina. Employees and customers of the Security Federal Savings Bank were startled when they heard a loud bump on the banks front door. An armed and hooded suspect was vigorously trying to push open the glass door and charge inside. He pushed hard, but the door didnt budge. He pushed again, harder! Still, the door wouldnt swing open. Finally, unable to defeat the high-tech robbery-resistant door, he fled. Now, if he had only pulled on the door. Yep, it was and is a pull door, as designated by the word PULL painted boldly on the glass. |
